Alyssa Hurtado, PA-C, is certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants and holds PA licensure in the state of Michigan. Alyssa holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University. Alyssa completed her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies through Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. She was awarded the inaugural Joel B. Miller Pro Humanitate award upon graduation. Prior to joining HOC, Alyssa's practice background included emergency medicine in North Carolina and hematology/oncology in Upstate NY prior to moving back to Michigan.
Alyssa maintains memberships to the American Academy of PAs (AAPA), Michigan Academy of PAs (MAPA), and the Association of PAs in Oncology (APAO), and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO).
